There are few phrases in any language more powerful than “I Love You”. I find myself obsessing over telling my family and loved ones that I love them whenever I hang up the phone, just in case it’s the last chance I have to tell them. Most of us have lost friends or family members from whom we wish we could just hear those 3 words ONE more time. This project aims to bring together as many “I Love Yous” as possible. Some are silly, some are sincere, a few are utterly heartbreaking. Many of the calls I received from this project were from people I’ve never met, and a few were voices I’d heard these words from countless times. Contributions came from at least 12 US states & one from England.

My hopes are that this project has encouraged people to think about their loved ones & reach out to them, and that people who don’t hear that they’re loved often enough can find some sort of comfort in these words. Thank you to everybody who contributed, and thank you to all who listen. I love you all.
